Easy Christmas Crafts You Can Make In Under 60 Minutes

Trying to find a great Christmas gift can be hard. Selecting the most unique Christmas gift idea for your money can be a daunting and intimidating task for even the most experienced of holiday shoppers. Adults often think that the idea of making Christmas gifts is only for children who do not yet have their own money to buy gifts. However, with a little bit of ingenuity, some clever shopping, and a fair amount of free time, you can make some very grown up do it yourself Christmas gifts. I usually start early in the year looking for crafting supplies on Craigslist or Kijiji. This is usually the time that fellow crafters start getting rid of some of their project left over's. Some of my best finds have been at garage sales in the early spring.

I have also noticed that a lot of the resale stores now have an all year section where they sell Christmas craft materials all year. The Dollar Store is also a great place to buy inexpensive supplies. My last great find was at a re-store that usually sold building materials. So keep you eyes open and see what sticks out at you. You may find some real treasures. Spend a couple days cruising the craft stores getting ideas for Christmas Crafts. Look for something that is different, easy to make and that looks great too. Ornaments are a great way to celebrate the Christmas season. There are so many different ways to create your own unique ornaments, that you could make a different type of ornament for nearly everyone on your list.

You can create your very own holiday candles (hint, hint: these make great gifts too!). The simplest way to do this is by rolling up sheets of beeswax.

Another great idea is decorating a gift bag with lights. Simply punch holes in a gift bag string the lights through the holes and decorate the bag any way you like. A really easy way to light up a dark corner in a room or give to a friend to sit on their desk at work.
